Born from the
earth itself

Chukum is a natural finish crafted from the resin of the Havardia albicans tree — indigenous to the Yucatán Peninsula — blended with local limestone. Used for centuries by the Maya to seal reservoirs and adorn pyramids, it is now redefined for contemporary architecture.

Each application is a living collaboration between artisan and material. Over time, subtle imperfections and patina emerge — not as flaws, but as evidence of time, touch, and authenticity. No two surfaces are ever the same.
